Khanyisa Twentiey

About

Khanyisa obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2020. Throughout her studies, she has volunteered at the UWC Street Law Society. In her final year, Khanyisa participated in the Women's Pioneer Program – a program run by the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges & Democratic Governance & Rights Unit.

After graduation, Khanyisa worked at an Alternative Legal Services company, Cognia Law, where she started as a Legal Analyst in the company’s Graduate Program. She also gained additional practical experience when she worked as a legal assistant at a legal tech company, Exigent Group. During winter of 2022, Khanyisa completed the Law Society of South Africa, Practical Vocational Training program.

Khanyisa is passionate about people and social justice and strives to make a meaningful contribution to society by advocating for the vulnerable members of society.

“My interests range from Alternative Legal Services, Family Law, Insurance Law and I am also interested in growing my knowledge and expertise in the field of Personal Injury claims. Shields Attorneys affords me the opportunity to do just that.”

When not in the office, Khanyisa enjoys going to the gym, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
