Jayren Van Willingh

About

Jayren graduated with an LLB from the University of the Western Cape in 2022. She participated in a mentorship program with the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges during her final year of study. Serving as a student legal advisor at the UWC LawClinic, her duties included consulting with clients on advice matters, and legal drafting under the supervision of an attorney.

She received further real-world experience while employed as a legal assistant at Exigent Group, a legal technology business.Her duties included supporting e-discovery and reviewing documents utilised throughout trial processes.

In her free time, she enjoys trips to the beach with family and friends and exploring new places. Jayren has an interest in medical malpractice and is hoping to establish her career in this area of law.
