Havashini is formally from Durban, where she began her LLB at UKZN, Howard College. She completed her LLB through UNISA in 2018 whilst working and gaining experience in the legal field.
She commenced her articles in Durban, then relocated to Cape Town in 2019 where she finalised her articles with Henry Shields Attorneys in 2020.
Havashini was admitted as an attorney in 2021 and was invited to practice as an associate with Henry Shields Attorneys. She has experience in civil and criminal litigation, personal injury law, debt review, and family law.
At Henry Shields Attorneys, Havashini deals with RAF claims, medical negligence matters, costs recovery and other areas of personal injury litigation. Her passion in this field is fuelled by obtaining fair compensation for severely injured individuals who are left in dire circumstances as a result of the accidents they were in or negligence they experienced.
Recreationally, she enjoys creating art and is specifically enthusiastic about watercolour painting, reading, visiting animal sanctuaries, and is a devoted dog lover.
