Arno Gunther

About

Arno grew up in KZN and matriculated in 2002. After school he spent two years working abroad –in roles ranging from room service in a five star hotel in central London to security officer on the Harry Potter movie set.

He concluded his travels with a European tour and had the privilege of watching some major sports events, like Wimbledon and the English premier League, live. He returned to SA and studied BA LLB at the university of Stellenbosch, completing his degree in 2010. Upon completing his studies, he spent a couple of years working and travelling in and around Asia. Arno returned to Cape Town in 2013 and completed the UCT School for Legal Practice course. He commenced articles at DSC attorneys gaining valuable experience in personal injury law and was admitted as an attorney in 2016.

He joined Henry Shields Attorneys in 2016 where he continues to practice and settle Road Accident Fund, general personal injury and medical negligence claims.

“Accidents are life changing in most instances (severe injuries or loss of life) and the road to finalising injury claims can be long and arduous. Ultimately, the most rewarding part of the job is to witness the difference that a good settlement can make in restoring hope and putting lives together again”, says Arno.

Arno enjoys golf, surfing and you might catch him hiking or running in our beautiful mountains over weekends.
